Green Built Home Checklists
The Green Built Home Checklists outline a series of basic requirements which every certified home or remodeling project must meet. Homeowners and builders can work together to select features from the Checklist that address erosion control, stormwater management, materials selection, water and energy conservation, indoor air quality and waste reduction. Each new home must earn a minimum of 60 points while remodeling projects must earn 10-60 points, depending on the extent of the renovations.

After Filling Out Your Checklist...
Your verifier will review your version of the checklist and complete two site visits to confirm certification requirements.
Many builders have indicated that they do not feel they need to sign a signature page for each home/remodel. If you wish to allow a verifier to submit the Verifier Checklist without your signature, send the following email to jimes@wi-ei.org:
"On homes that I am building/remodeling, I authorize [insert name of Verifier] to submit GBH verification reports to WEI without my signature. This will remain in effect until I submit a written request to WEI to cancel this authorization."
